Features
Five tools that help you read the water.
RipCo brings live conditions, rip detection and clear guidance together in one free app. Each tool has the same purpose: help you make a better decision before you get in the water.
Feature 01
AI Safety Brief
A plain-English summary of what the water is doing at your beach right now. Instead of reading raw numbers, you get a short, direct brief you can understand in seconds, with the reminder to swim between the flags built in.
Feature 02
Live camera with AI rip detection
The live view from your beach camera, with likely rips outlined in red and a confidence percentage. You can see where a rip is and how sure the model is, then check it against the flags before you decide to swim. Detection runs at Manly Beach and is rolling out to more Australian beaches; every other beach is conditions only.
Feature 03
Marine Conditions
Wind, swell, tide and water temperature for your beach, gathered into one clear view. The same signals lifeguards weigh up, in front of you before you leave the house, so you know what to expect when you arrive.
Feature 04
Shark Watch
Community-reported hazard sightings, shared with other people at the beach. When someone reports a sighting, others nearby can see it, so the whole beach benefits from more eyes on the water.
Feature 05
Ask RipCo
A conversational assistant for conditions and beach-safety questions. Ask what the surf is doing, what a flag means or how to spot a rip, and get a clear answer that always points you back to the flags and the lifeguards.
Everything in one app.
RipCo is coming to the App Store, starting at Manly Beach. Early access opens before launch.
Whatever RipCo shows, swim between the red and yellow flags and follow the lifeguards.
