What happens to your email
What will you do with my address?
Send you RipCo updates: the launch, and new beaches. It is not shared or sold, and every email has a way to leave the list. The full detail is on the privacy page.
Does the app track my location?
Only if you allow it, and only to show beaches near you. You can search for any beach without sharing your location.
Does the app watch people on the beach?
The cameras are public feeds that already exist, and the model reads the surface of the water for the signature of a rip. It is not built to identify people.
